Excellent stay!!!!
This was an excellent hotel! Great location and helpful staff. The hotel was close to historical landmarks and the old world feel with the cobblestone walkways/streets was unforgettable. Great place to stay on the weekend to get a feel for the vibrant community and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing and Marie deserves an honorable mention. Thank you for making my stay memorable!.

Great base to explore the city
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, perfect for a base to explore the old town. The food is good and reasonably priced. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and the square that is the hub of nightlife. I read other reviews that said the hotel was loud. This whole area of town is loud. My room was reasonably quiet considering it was in the heart of the colonial zone. I’d definitely stay there again.

Mario’s Birthday
I’ve been to Santo Domingo many times and decided to try Hodelpha Caribe. This was a great choice, front desk was very accommodating, Facebook English and Spanish and was very helpful. I got a room in the front wit a balcony..... really nice. The roof top deck was awesome. Oh Yes, FREE HOT BREAKFAST LOL!.

Hodelpa Caribe Colonial
Great little boutique type hotel near the Cathedral. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to spend time with friends. So many restaurants and places to see all within walking distance. The breakfasts and dinners we had were very good and the staff was attentive and kind. I will stay here again the next time I head to Santo Domingo!.

Excellent service & location
This is a boutique type of hotel! Service was outstanding. By the end of our stay I had lost track of how many people I wanted to thank by name on this post. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was super spacious. I had written the hotel a note about it being our anniversary and we were surprised with champagne and a cheese/fruit platter in our room the first night! Definitely going back!.

Clean, safe, good food! Great location!!
Great location... Short distance from Parque Colon, restaurants, stores, Cathedral, the fortress.. Clean, great customer service, hotel's restaurant food is great and great prices. Very happy with my stay here.. Family of 4 with a 5 and 16 years old. Very safe area. You can get local tour guides at the park one Block up from hotel or walk around on your own. Highly recommend, we will stay here again in the future.
