We stayed here at the end of January as a group of 8. 5 adults and 3 kids. I'll start by saying I'm not picky at all.

Beautiful Resort
The beach was very clean. The ocean is so clear and the breakers only about knee-high. One can walk left or right from the resort for a long way.

Great Week
Food was good and had lots of restaurant options to not just eat buffet each day. The location is close to Puerto Plata but still takes about 20min to get there.
